We need your help to make race day great! Please volunteer to serve on race morning! Spend a couple of hours on a beautiful fall morning as a race course marshal to cheer passing runners, keep them from a wrong turn, and ask oncoming car/golf cart to stop while runners pass - so easy! Come run or volunteer at the Peachtree City Classic and see why we love running and serving our community. This club helps bring my “why” to life, and I am so thankful for our members and running community!

Thank you The Citizen and Ellie White-Stevens for a kind article and Bob Dalton for the nomination. I love running and serving and both are fueled by Faith, the example of others, and a desire to become who I am meant to be and help others do the same. Peachtree City Running Club and Rotary Club of Peachtree City are meaningful service communities in our area and I’m thankful for both. Come run the Peachtree City Classic and get a taste of why we love running. https://runsignup.com/Race/GA/PeachtreeCity/ThePeachtreeCityClassic

Citizen of the Week: Evan Lovelace. 🏃♂️ In his second year as president of the Peachtree City Running Club, Lovelace helps keep the community moving - quite literally. But for him, it's about far more than pace: "We are really a service organization that runs, and a running organization that serves." Under his leadership, the club welcomes runners, walk-runners, and walkers of all abilities while raising money for student scholarships, school running clubs, and community needs. His belief? Choosing something hard has a way of rippling into the rest of life.
