Peach Orchard History and Tidbits

Peach Orchard History and Tidbits Peach Orchard is the oldest town in Clay County, Arkansas still existing, since 1800 to 1816. It's a quiet, friendly town in the middle of a farming community.

There are ample opportunities for deer and duck hunting; and Black River and Lake Ashbough are nearby for fishing. The City Park has an outdoor walking trail and full size basketball court. Family and faith are at the foremost for residents; with churches: First Baptist Church, and Peach Orchard Pentecost Church. The town is served by a Volunteer Fire Department with stations on both sides of the railroad tracks.
