“Today, we share some bittersweet news with our Rock the Spectrum Foundation community.
Our Co-Founder & CEO/President, Katie Billingsley, has made the decision to step down from her role with Rock the Spectrum Foundation.
7 years ago, three autism moms came together around Katie’s kitchen island with one simple goal…to plan the very first Rock the Spectrum fundraiser. We never could have imagined then, what started as a fun little fundraiser with about 100 of our friends and family, would grow into what Rock the Spectrum Foundation is today.
While we are sad to see this chapter come to a close, we are incredibly grateful for everything Katie has given to this foundation. The friendships we’ve built, the families we’ve met and the opportunities we’ve created together will always be a part of Rock the Spectrum’s story.
As we look ahead, our mission remains unchanged. What started as three autism moms wanting to give back and make a positive impact in the community will continue. We remain committed to funding meaningful initiatives, creating opportunities for inclusion and making a difference for individuals with autism and other neurological differences and their families.
Katie, thank you for everything you have done for Rock the Spectrum Foundation. Your impact on our foundation and the countless lives we’ve touched together cannot be measured.”
