A young 16U team competed their hearts out this past weekend, battling until the final out in every game. Their hard work and determination paid off with an exciting walk-off victory to close out the weekend and earn a big win. Proud of the effort, resilience, and growth this group continues to show. 💪⚾️

Yesterday at the Classic, we awarded a “Deb Bettencourt Lifetime Award” to Paul Doyon. This award recognizes a commitment to the Slaterettes for at least 25 years and Paul did that and more as a coach, an umpire, a board member, and a friend. He was nominated by another Lifetime Award winner, his daughter, Dari Doyan and joined by family and friends.
Of course no good award presentation (especially with Paul) can go without a blip! 💙

During the Slaterettes Classic, we give out the Louise “Lou” Arnold Honorary Award to a team that exhibits the strong belief that no one player carries a team alone.
This year’s recipient is The 16U Boston Slammers. With numerous nominations, this team showed that it took every one of them to take home the championship. On and off the field, they operated as one unit. Each of them was just as important as the next.
Congrats 16U Slammers!! 💙⚾️❤️

Our 10U and 12U teams took care of business, both finishing the day 2-0. Our 16U team fought until the final out in two tight games, coming up just short despite a tremendous effort.

Tomorrow, our 10U and 12U teams are playing for the championship! 🚢🏆 Let's finish the weekend strong!
