The Pauls Valley Foundation for Academic Excellence, an independently operated, non-profit organization, was established to assist the schools in improving the quality of education in our community. The Foundation was organized to provide the best education possible in our schools by funding worthwhile projects designed to challenge and encourage students in their academic pursuits.

It’s awards week at PV & Whitebead Schools! Yay! It has us reminiscing.
What is your favorite or most memorable grant of the 2023-2024 school year? Which PVFAE sponsored experience stands out most in your mind since we began in 1990?

We are so excited! This year, we not only get to hand our scholarships to deserving Seniors, we have upped the amounts and added a fourth recipient! We also get to recognize and celebrate many Juniors & Seniors with impressive cumulative grade point averages.

We are trying out a new opportunity to give back to our students this year by aiding our current educators through scholarships toward their education related training or degree attainment. We hope to continue this program and watch it grow!

Great things can happen when people come together! This is a collaborative effort with The Vault in downtown Pauls Valley. Thanks to our artists, teachers Mrs. Shippey and Mrs. Prieto, admin Shea Thompson, The Vault owner Susie Agee, our original Self-Portrait art show teacher and current board member, our beloved, Mrs. Becky Messec and of course, our donors! We love the addition of students’ statements in English and Spanish!
