Friday night we observed Easter by having a “Jesus & Jammies” lock-in. We did a walk through Holy Week reading scripture and doing activities. We had a great time with little to no sleep. 😅

Saturday we had a Native American fun day. We worked on their Native American badge. They learned about totem poles, instruments, music circles, pow wow dance, & Native American clothing. They had a lunch of 3 sisters stew, cornbread & cooked apples. They also made their own totem poles, instruments, and outfits for paper dolls. We had a great day!

Thank you so much to everyone who donated a dessert, purchased a dessert, gave a donation or just showed up to support our troop Friday night. We had a successful dessert auction thanks to you. This money will be used for social events for our girls, badge work, meetings and service projects.

Special thank you to our volunteer auctioneers Ed Henderson & Jamie Sexton and their help Pete Hoyt. Thank you to Oak Hill Historical Society for hosting our event at The Liberty Theatre and Oak Hill Public Library for donating copies of our list of desserts. We appreciate you all so much!

Daddy/Daughter “Boots & Beauties” dance. An event we splurge on because we see the importance of good fathers and want to encourage that relationship.

Thank you to those who support our troop for making these events possible. Our girls will forever have these special memories.
