Last night was a special night for Project Ladybug! We celebrated the renovation The Center for Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Paterson NJ.

The renovation of the Xavier 7 unit, providing a child...-friendly, cheery, and welcoming environment for young patients being treated for oncologic and blood disorders, was completed in Fall 2012 after over a year’s planning and construction. Funded by private donations and the vision of Project Ladybug founder Dina Manzo, the unit was designed by renowned Pittsburg architectural firm Astorino and constructed by GLP Builders LLC of Lodi. The unit contains newly updated examination and treatment rooms, a newly renovated lobby and hallways, updated office and meeting space, and a gallery of pediatric patient art work.

Saw the renovated wing that Ladybug did at St. Joes this morning. It's now a happy cheerful place for the kids to go to for their treatments. Our NJ chapter alone has raised $600,000, I actually cried the whole way home from the ho...spital. I'm really proud of the difference we have made so far, I've got my eye on some pretty big goals for all of our funds so your continued support means the world to me & all the moms & dads fighting for their children's lives.
