Are you tired of watching our country support the Gaza genocide over the past few years and wishing you could do something about it? Now’s your chance!
Tri-Cities for Palestine is setting up a weekly online phone banking opportunity. We’ll meet on Zoom and present a current issue relating to Palestine that we’d like our representatives to take action on. We’ll provide a script and talking points on that issue as well as phone numbers. Then we’ll pause the Zoom meeting and give everyone time to call their representatives. We’ll meet back for a five-minute debrief. The entire meeting will take no more than 30 minutes.
According to recent polling, 60 percent of Americans no longer support the U.S. continuing to send weapons to Israel. As our numbers grow, we can put more effective pressure on our legislators and they will have to listen.

Reminder and Update! TC4P has decided on to receive 50% of the proceeds from our Group Yard Sale on Sep 12 and 13th AND we have one more drop off day added to the calendar as we will be sorting and pricing on that day so will be available at the property. Also we would love to borrow your clothes hangers and racks for the sale and then get them back to you afterwards!

Save the date and save up your donate boxes! TC4P will be having a group yard sale on September 12 and 13th from 10am to 4pm. Our group members will be supplying a lot of sale items but we would love to sell your used clothes, tools, toys, books, dvds, and more if you have them to spare! In the second part of the Introduction to The Black Antifascist Tradition, we look at the author's analysis of the origins of Fascism, which they write were in the US's race laws, including parts of the constitution and a number of Supreme Court decisions during the early years of the nation. The book as a whole will look at this in greater detail, but in the introduction, Mullen and Hope lay out their thesis.

Our next book to digest will be The Black Antifascist Tradition by Bill Mullen and Jeanelle K. Hope. We are taking it slow and digesting the Introduction in multiple parts because it is dense and packed with information. This will probably also be the case for following chapters. In this first part, we look at the authors' intentions for the book and what they mean to say with it. It looks like it will be an enlightening journey to work through this book!

Save the date: Saturday, August 1st at 2900 Bombing Range Road in Richland WA, 10am to 4pm is the Multicultural Bazaar and Bake Sale! TC4P will be there with items crafted by our members as well as some amazing Handmade Palestine items. This time we are raising funds for our operations and future events, so we thank you for your generosity! There will also be a lot of other wonderful vendors so we encourage you to check out the whole thing. We look forward to seeing you.

Let's get together and talk! The first biweekly meeting will be on July 2oth in the Kennewick Library Large Meeting Room at 6:15pm (we'll probably go until about 7:30pm) and our first subject will be a recent article by CODE PINK on the merger between the US and Israeli militaries.
