Join us Oct 19 at John Dam Plaza from 6 to 8pm for our third annual memorial for the lives lost in Palestine over the past year

Bring chairs or blankets to sit on. We will have speakers and prayers from a variety of faith traditions, art displays, poetry and more.

Unfortunately we have had to cancel our yard sale today due to a wind advisory; last time it was less windy than this and we had trouble keeping items on the outside tables. We are still having the sale on Saturday, though, as the weather predictions are much better for tomorrow! We are sorry for this late notice, and thank you very much to the volunteer who was going to help us today.
Speaking of volunteers, we need some!
As the flyer says, though we try to put out opportunities for a few hours here and there to help with already planned events (such as this current sign up: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0A45ADAB23A2FACF8-66041370-tc4p #/ ), we could also really use help at the planning phase and with our email and social media communications. If anyone is interested in getting more involved with us and donating a bit of their time and brain power, please get in touch either via instagram dm () or email us at [email protected]

Our Annual Interfaith Memorial for the lives taken in Gaza, Palestine is coming up soon, and we would love your help putting together a couple of art installations we have planned for it. This art build might get emotional as we are planning on doing some research on names and stories to go with the installations, so we wanted to let anyone who comes know that in advance. As both Richland and Kennewick Library locations were booked up, this one will take place at 424 S Washington St in Kennewick on Sep 27th, from 2pm to 5pm.

Although we had a great turnout for our last two sales days, we had so many donations for our Group Yard Sale that we are going to do two more sales days, this time next Friday and Saturday, with different times each day (2-5pm on Friday, 10am-4pm on Saturday). We also want to take this opportunity to raise money for the individual Gazan families that we have vetted and direct people to in our link tree. We have mostly clothes and accessories now, including purses and shoes, but we also have a fair few household items and a couple of larger items as well. Prices will be back to $0.50 for kids clothes, $1 for adult casual clothes, $2 for outerwear and formal, and up to $15 for furniture and larger items, such as two electric smokers, for both days. Thank you for your donations, and we hope to see you there!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this yard sale happen, from the organizers to the volunteers, from the donors to the shoppers, from the owners of the building we used to everyone who shared the flyers on social media. There is power in community and coming together, and none of us could have accomplished this alone.

Are you tired of watching our country support the Gaza genocide over the past few years and wishing you could do something about it? Now’s your chance!
Tri-Cities for Palestine is setting up a weekly online phone banking opportunity. We’ll meet on Zoom and present a current issue relating to Palestine that we’d like our representatives to take action on. We’ll provide a script and talking points on that issue as well as phone numbers. Then we’ll pause the Zoom meeting and give everyone time to call their representatives. We’ll meet back for a five-minute debrief. The entire meeting will take no more than 30 minutes.
According to recent polling, 60 percent of Americans no longer support the U.S. continuing to send weapons to Israel. As our numbers grow, we can put more effective pressure on our legislators and they will have to listen.
If you’re interested in participating, please email [email protected] Subject line: Speak up

This will prompt an auto reply with further details and the zoom link.
