We come together as social beings, freely associating, to engage on an experiment in collective thought. We will propose, and then discuss proposals, for joint action to show our solidarity with the global Occupy Movement, and work autonomously to engage local, national, and global issues affecting our communities. LA Voice and PICO California are working to pass AB 15 and AB16 and they could use supporters to call their representatives.

AB15 would ban evictions through 2021. As a reminder the current eviction protections expire Jan. 31st.

AB 16 would forgive rent and protect families from long term debt.

If you can lend your support for these bills in the next few days there is a link below to connect you to the representatives in your area and it includes prompts for AB 15. It only takes about 5 minutes.
