If you want a high energy, loving cat, Buttercup is the cat for you! He’s SUPER playful and very active, in fact he loves playing fetch with little toys .

He loves people, wants attention and cuddles from anyone and everyone, and if you ever dare to stop petting him, he’ll give a love bite or reach his paw out to ask for more.

Buttercup is FIV/FeLV negative, fully vetted, and will get along with another cat in the house.

You can visit Buttercup at Petco in Clark, NJ and if you're interested in taking this sweetheart home, apply for him at gratefulpawsnj.com/adopt.

Banta had kittens, and all of them have been adopted except for her. Will you be her next mommy or daddy?

She is shy at first, but once you get past her shy exterior, she is a sweetheart. She loves to be petted (and will let you know when it’s time to pet her) and treats. Banta would do well with other cats and would prefer a quiet household with no dogs or young children. She is FIV/FeLV negative and up to date on all her vetting.

To apply for this sweet mama, go to www.gratefulpawsnj.com/adopt and type in “Banta” under the animal of interest field.

Are you interested in a lap cat, one who will sit with you while you watch TV? If so, may we introduce you to Hecate (pronounced heck-ah-tay)?

Hecate is a lap cat by default. Initially shy, she loves to purr and rub up against you, and if you're not paying attention to her, she'll remind you she's there and wants some attention. She'll do well with another cat in the house as long as she's the dominant one. She's around a year old, FIV/FeLV negative, and fully vetted.

If you're interested in Hecate, go to gratefulpawsnj.com/adopt to apply for her.

Are you interested in fostering? We're looking for a foster for this beautiful one-year-old girl named Caraxes. She was friendly with the feeder on the street and we brought her to Petco in Clark to help get socialized, but she needs more 1:1 time. She is extremely shy and will only let one of our volunteers pet her. All it takes is some time, love, and patience. We will be with you the whole time. If you want to foster, now is the time!

Go to our Google Form if you're interested in fostering: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdj1CkYfsNQhrKac8GmJQOxrLi5s2zBXm2bABPLReR-xc7hoQ/viewform?usp=sharing&ouid=112354879247391789457

BARN HOME FOUND!

These cats have been sitting in a cage for a week waiting to go to their barn home, who just cancelled on them last minute. So now these feral cats - who were living in a place where people were poisoning them - have nowhere to go because they can’t go back there. Cats were found dead. We need immediate barn placement for them! We got lots of inquiries with no response. Please only reach out if you are serious. It’s their lives on the line. They are neutered and vaccinated.

We have transportation commitment within and right outside of NJ. We just need a barn or other safe outdoor arrangement. For example: our president has her own feral cats living on her property because she lives on a quiet street with lots of greenery. 4-6 week acclimation period required, which we will walk you through.
