With heartfelt gratitude to all our generous donors, we are pleased to share the results of our 2026 Qurbani Project. Your support helped bring relief and joy to hundreds of vulnerable families across Kabul during Eid al-Adha.

***Qurbani deadline: this Friday - May 22

As we prepare for Qurbani 2026 in Kabul, one thing that is very important to us is making sure your donation has the greatest possible impact for families in need.

For us, Qurbani is not just about fulfilling an obligation - it is about maximizing the benefit for widows, orphaned children, and families facing extreme poverty and hunger in Afghanistan.

This year, the cows we are purchasing are approximately 160 kg, compared to smaller cows that may only be around 120 kg in some places. A larger animal means more meat distributed to struggling families who may not have had meat for months.

Price Breakdown

• 160 kg Cow + Government Fee + Butcher + packaging+distribution: $1,120
• 7 Shares per Cow
• Cost per Share: $160

Our goal is not simply to choose the cheapest option, but to help feed more people this Eid al-Adha.

****Qurbani Project 2026****

Hard deadline: May 22, 2026

(Please note that we will not be accepting donations for Qurbani shares after the deadline, as arrangements for purchasing and distribution must be finalized locally before Eid.)

As Eid al-Adha approaches, many families in Kabul are still struggling with extreme poverty and hardship. For countless children and families, meat is something they have not tasted in months.

This year, Komak Rassan is organizing a Qurbani project in Kabul to help provide fresh meat to families in need during Eid.

$160 covers one share of a cow
7 shares = 1 cow

Our goal this year is for 35 people to donate toward a share.

Alhamdulillah, so far we have received donations for 14 shares (2 cows).

The cost includes:
• Purchase of the animal
• Slaughter
• Packaging
• Distribution of meat

All Qurbani will be performed locally and distributed to needy families in Kabul.

🌙 Ramadan Bread Distribution – Fresh Bread Cards
📅 Started February 26, 2026 | Ramadan Day 10

We started the distribution of bread cards on the 10th day of Ramadan to cover the remaining 20 days of the month—ensuring families had fresh bread from the bakery daily. 🤲

Each card provided 11 pieces of fresh bread daily to support families throughout the rest of Ramadan.

🌙 Ramadan 2026 – Week 1 Report

200 Warm Meals Distributed

Hot meals were provided to individuals living and working on the streets — primarily women, children, elderly individuals, and day laborers struggling to meet their daily needs.

This distribution was made possible by a generous donor who dedicated this charity in loving memory of his beloved wife who passed away last year.

May Allah accept it as Sadaqah Jariyah, grant her Jannatul Ferdous, expand her grave with light and mercy, and reunite her with her loved ones in the highest level of Paradise. Ameen.
