Staff, Parents, and Guardians of Trojan Learning Center,
Hello! My name is Alyssa Kohler, and I am excited to introduce myself as the new Director of the Trojan Learning Center. Some of you may already recognize me from the past few weeks, as I have been serving as the center’s cook.
My family and I recently moved to Parkston about a month ago. I was married this past January, and my husband and I have a wonderful two-year-old daughter who also attends the center. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, and enjoying an iced coffee or an Alani. A fun fact about me is that I am allergic to chocolate!
Childcare has always been a passion of mine, and I have worked in the field for most of my life. My experience includes roles as a babysitter, childcare provider, curriculum coordinator, and now director. I am also close to completing my Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification.
I am deeply committed to creating a safe, engaging, and fun learning environment where children can grow and thrive. I am truly excited to begin this journey alongside the children, families, and staff of Trojan Learning Center, and I look forward to supporting and watching both the children
and our community continue to grow.
