Parker Task Force For Human Services The Parker Task Force is dedicated to helping residents of Parker, Elizabeth & Franktown. Serving residents of Parker, Franktown and Elizabeth Colorado.

We provide 10 client choice shopping trips to our food bank, advising with Client Advocates and connections to resources to help clients return to self-sufficiency. The Parker Task Force is dedicated to providing individuals and families in our community with food, limited financial assistance and other support services to help them become self-sufficient. These services will be delivered with compassion, dignity and respect by our 100% volunteer staff.

World Hunger Day & Cram the Cruiser

Today is World Hunger Day, a reminder that food insecurity affects families in our community every day, including right here in Parker.

To help support local families, the Parker Police Department is partnering with the Parker Task Force for our Cram the Cruiser food drive from June 1-6. During the summer months, many children lose access to the school breakfast and lunch programs they rely on throughout the year, placing additional strain on families already facing hunger.

We’re asking for donations of non-expired, non-perishable food items to help stock local food shelves and provide meals for children and families in need.

Donation drop boxes will be available June 1-5 at the Parker Police Department, Town Hall, the Parker Recreation Center, the Fieldhouse and H2O’Brien Pool. Officers will also be at the Parker Walmart from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 6 collecting donations.

Every donation helps. Together, we can make a difference for our neighbors facing food insecurity.
