Hey Everyone! This Friday, July 18th from 6–9 PM at the Plaza Art Gallery, join us for the Community Art Show! The evening will feature work from local artists, and a few of us from the Paris Poetry Society will be sharing poetry live at 7pm.

It’s a beautiful chance to connect with others who find joy in creative expression, meet fellow artists and art-lovers, and show support for the amazing talent in our community. Come as you are, bring a friend, and let's celebrate art and each other!

Community artists!! This Wednesday you can bring your art to the gallery from 10 am - 12 pm for submission to our Community Art Show taking place in July! If you can't make it then, we will also be accepting submissions on July 5 from 10 am - 12 pm or by appointment. We can't wait to see all the amazing art! (form in comments).

What an incredible turnout for our very first poetry gathering!

Thank you to everyone who showed up, shared their words, or simply soaked in the beauty of the evening. The energy, the stories, and the forming connections were everything we hoped for and more!

We’re thrilled to announce that this will be a monthly tradition! Join us for our next gathering on Monday, May 5th at the Plaza Art Gallery in downtown Paris, TX. We’ll be meeting every first Monday of the month, and all are welcome to this free event.

For those who enjoy a little creative nudge, our next optional poetry prompt is: "What speaks to me."
There are no rules for this one...just follow what moves you. And of course, if something else is calling to you, bring that instead. No pressure, just poetry.

Can’t wait to see you again and hear what’s in your hearts.

Hey Everyone! I am getting excited for our first meet up. I just finished up a poem I am ecstatic to share with you all. A reminder that we will be meeting at the Plaza Art Gallery in downtown Paris at 7:30pm this coming Monday, April 7th! We will base how many shares on the amount of people who show up. Dear friends,
Long ago, in this very town, a circle of kindred spirits gave life to the Paris Poetry Society. In my early twenties, I was lucky enough to stumble into that circle. Within its warmth, I found my words, my voice, and, slowly, my truer self. It was a tender, transformative season, and I have carried deep gratitude for that experience ever since.
Now, having found my way back to Paris, I would love nothing more than to help tend that flame. To offer a space where we can gather, speak what feels unsayable, and practice the sacred art of deep listening.
Thanks to the kindness of the Plaza Art Gallery downtown, we will meet on the first Monday of each month in their beautiful building at 8 W Plaza.
Our first gathering will be on Monday, April 7th, at 7:30 p.m.
Bring your poems. Bring your quiet. Bring whatever is stirring inside you.
I am so looking forward to beginning again, with all of you.
