If you are looking for a way to give to those effected by Hurricane Helene- Paint Rock Church is taking a trailer load Tuesday morning to North Carolina. They are in contact with another church there responding to the needs.
Please consider dropping off your items at Paint Rock church today & tomorrow @ the address 9903 Hwy 109 between Paris & Magazine.
I will update this post when I have new information.

Also, here is a list of vetted & legit charitable organizations that are really good.

The summer feeding program starts today!!

We will be set up at Assembly of God parking lot, Subiaco Park and we will also be set up at the PHS Wellness Center for students/parents to pick up meals!

LUGGAGE DRIVE FOR FOSTER CARE

May is Foster Care Awareness Month and we have a lot of kids from Logan County in foster care. Many times when a kid is taken into foster care, they do not have luggage or duffle bags for their clothes and have to use trash bags. You can help out by donating new or gently used luggage, duffle bags, and backpacks for foster care kids.

You can drop the luggage, duffle bags, and backpacks off at the D.H.S. office at 17 West McKeen Street in Paris, at Annie's House of Hope at 102 East Academy Street in Paris, and at the Booneville Chamber of Commerce at 210 East Main Street in Booneville. You can also call 479-206-3500 and they can pick your donation up.

It's almost that time of year.... Paris Harmony AG will be doing our "Back to School New Clothing Give-A-Way" on Saturday, July 30th, 2022 in the FLC at the church. The doors will open at 10:00 am and we'll close at 12:00 noon unless there are people "shopping for free" at that time.

This is our 7th annual give away, and as usual we have a large selection of sizes and styles. We have clothing, shoes, some jackets, socks and unders. We ask that children be present, so they can shop with parents and so we know the clothing goes to children.

The clothing will be given in limited supply and on a first come/first served basis. As with any store you would shop in, we can't guarantee you'll find exactly what you want; however, what you find will be FREE.

We also have a used clothes closet that is well stocked and will be open that day as well. You may take as much from there as you can use.
