A great example of local individuals trusting the Arkansas Community Foundation of Greene County as their choice to establish a lasting legacy endowment for future nursing students. This endowment grants funds annually to the Baptist Paragould Foundation, who selects the scholarship recipient. Congratulations to Lacie!

Congratulations to Paragould High School senior Lacie Mathis on receiving the Paragould Doctors’ Clinic Endowment Scholarship. This annual scholarship is presented by the Baptist Paragould Foundation and goes to a Greene County high school senior.

Lacie plans to attend Black River Technical College and become an RN. She has participated in the Candy Striper and MASH Programs at Baptist Paragould and volunteered her time at Chateau on the Ridge. Congrats Lacie!

Congratulations to Paragould High School graduating seniors receiving scholarships administered by Arkansas Community Foundation of Greene County. Tracy Brengard and Julie Holmes presented scholarships awarded to the following students: Millie Cooper, Jackson Kuenzel, Lillian Farmer, Samuel Treece, Alexandra Delagarza, Dalen Burroughs, Taylor Gaines, Lila Beach, Dalton Masters, Edwin Chen, Gaylon Craig, Asia’s Pearson, Jacob Allison, John Brawley, Luan Shearer, Makaila Armstrong, and Seth Kaser.

Arkansas Community Foundation of Greene County is pleased to represent our endowment holders, individuals, families, and organizations who see the value of higher education and training who have made an investment through permanent endowments to award scholarships to Greene County students. The Foundation has been entrusted to administer 39 separate student scholarship focused endowments valued at over $5 million dollars. This year the endowments will award approximately $120,000 to graduating students in Greene County Schools to include Greene County Tech High School, Paragould High School, Crowley’s Ridge Academy, Marmaduke High School, and Crowley’s Ridge Christian Home School.
