🌟 Spotlight Recognition 🌟

As we prepare for the 2026–2027 season, we want to recognize some of our 11U players from this past season who are putting in extra work this summer through camps, clinics, and additional training opportunities.

At this level, growth isn’t just about developing physical skills, it’s also about increasing baseball knowledge, strengthening fundamentals, and gaining a deeper understanding of the game. These players are showing a commitment to continuous improvement, proving that there is always something new to learn and another level to reach.

We are proud of the time, effort, and dedication they are investing in their development. Success in baseball comes from a willingness to learn, work, and grow, and these young athletes are embracing that mindset.

Keep an eye out for more player spotlight recognitions as we continue highlighting the hard work being put in both on and off the field. The work never stops, and neither does the opportunity to get better.

Before you were a ballplayer, you were God's masterpiece

"For You formed my inward parts; You knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." — Psalm 139:13-14

Every player on a baseball field is different. Some are fast. Some are strong. Some have powerful arms. Some have the ability to encourage teammates when the game gets tough.

The world often tells us our value comes from our performance. It says we matter when we hit home runs, make great plays, or win championships. But God's Word tells a different story.

Before you ever stepped into a batter's box, before you ever put on a jersey, before anyone knew your name, God knew you. He formed you. He designed you. He gave you your personality, your gifts, your talents, and even the opportunities you have today.

That means you don't have to compare yourself to the player next to you. God didn't make a mistake when He made you. He created you with purpose.

At Battleline, we want our players to understand that baseball is something we do, not who we are. Our identity is found in Christ. Wins and losses will come and go. Seasons will begin and end. But the truth remains: you are fearfully and wonderfully made by God.

So play hard, compete hard, and be a great teammate. But remember that your greatest value isn't found on the scoreboard. It's found in the hands of the Creator who knit you together and has a purpose for your life.

Battleline Challenge:
Instead of comparing yourself to another player today, thank God for one gift or ability He has given you and ask Him to use it for His glory.

🌟 Spotlight Recognition 🌟

With tryouts for the 2026–2027 season on the horizon, we want to take a moment to recognize some of our future 10U players who have chosen to invest extra time in their development by attending local baseball camps this summer.

We are incredibly proud of the dedication, work ethic, and determination these young athletes are displaying at such an early age. Their commitment to improving their skills, learning the game, and growing as teammates is a testament to their character and love for baseball.

The future is bright, and we are excited to watch these players continue to grow both on and off the field.

⚾️ Battleline Baseball Tryouts Are Here! ⚾️

Do you have a player ready to compete, develop, and take their game to the next level?

Battleline Baseball is more than a travel baseball organization. We are committed to developing young athletes through hard work, discipline, teamwork, and character. Our focus is helping players grow both on and off the field while providing a competitive environment where they can reach their full potential.

We are currently looking for players for:

🔹 11U
🔹 13U

July 7th

All players interested in trying out should complete our player information form prior to tryouts. The form will help us learn more about your athlete's baseball experience, primary positions, and contact information.

Champions x2

Both teams went 2-0 in pool play and entered the tournament as the #1 seed.

They battled through the heat, humidity, and at times passing rain showers. Pitch after pitch, inning after inning the boys showed resilience, toughness, and determination to finish what they started.

In the end both teams brought home the championship. Two teams. Two championships. One weekend.

Battleline Baseball would like to recognize and thank SkinLab Esthetics for becoming a sponsor of our organization.

Support from local businesses does more than help a baseball team. It helps create opportunities for young athletes to grow in confidence, character, discipline, and faith both on and off the field.

SkinLab Esthetics is passionate about helping people feel confident and cared for, and we are thankful for businesses in our community that are willing to pour back into the next generation.

Every tournament provides an opportunity to compete, grow on the field, be a better player, teammate and friend, but more importantly it provides an opportunity to show everyone around the ball park what is truly the top of the order for Battleline Baseball. That is the love of Jesus Christ. Before every game players are prayed over and reminded that they are loved. Even when tournaments are on Sundays and players can’t make it to Church, you have to bring the Church to them. It’s not JUST about baseball.

⚾ COACH SPOTLIGHT — JOSH EVERETT ⚾

Coach Josh Everett’s love for baseball is what first drew him into coaching, but it’s the impact on players that keeps him here.

For Coach Josh, the game is about far more than wins and losses. It’s about helping young athletes grow in confidence, learn resilience, handle adversity, and become better teammates and people along the way.

“The most important thing I want players to learn is accountability and resilience. Baseball is a game of failure, and life can be too. Learning how to respond after mistakes, encourage your teammates, and keep showing up with a good attitude are lessons that carry way beyond the field.”

Coach Josh credits much of his coaching style to his dad and his college coach, Jeremy Haworth and coaches who pushed him to compete while also making him feel valued as a person. That balance of high standards, encouragement, and strong relationships is something he works to bring to Battleline every day.

One of the moments he’s most proud of as a coach isn’t always found on a scoreboard. Sometimes it’s seeing a player overcome fear, regain confidence after struggling, or watching teammates support one another without being asked.

And if his coaching style had a walk-up song?

“God’s Gonna Cut You Down” by Johnny Cash.

“It was my walk-out song in college, and it still fits the attitude I take to the field calm but intimidating.”

Behind every team chasing big dreams is a community that chooses to stand behind them. We want to give a huge thank you to Larry’s Auto Sales in Paragould for supporting Battleline Baseball.

Youth sports are about so much more than what happens on the scoreboard. They teach hard work, accountability, confidence, teamwork, and how to keep showing up even when things get tough. Those lessons matter, and they aren’t possible without people willing to invest in these kids.

Because of businesses like Larry’s Auto Sales, our players get the chance to compete, grow together, and create memories they’ll carry for the rest of their lives.

We’re thankful for local businesses that care about their community and believe in the next generation.
