"At the moment of diagnosis of both of my parents, I vividly remember two moments. First came the fear, the fear of finally being able to put a name to the symptoms. The second was the horror I felt after the fear and curiosity forced me to Google the diagnosis and prognosis for each of my incredible parents. A neurodegenerative disease diagnosis is typically accompanied by a massive learning curve for the patient an the ones who love them, alike. In my mind, there are two places the general public's knowledge falls short: in the information on "what do we do now?", and "what could we have done earlier?". This second question is my entire motivation for being involved in JLI."

“Today I received a heartwarming call from Ms. SunJoo Lee, the music therapist who offered and brought so much joy to Judy.

A few years back Judy’s Legacy sponsored a music program through Banner Alzheimer’s in which Ms. SunJoo was involved, she now has written a paper on the program’s impact, and dedicate it to Judy, this deeply touches me and further illuminates the profound impact she had on everyone she met.

Ms. SunJoo's dedication makes me even more eager to explore more ways to continue honoring my wife Judy’s legacy.
