Happy Earth Day from Hillsdale Watershed!

Today we celebrate the land, water, and communities that make our watershed special. Conservation practices adopted on farms helps to protect our natural resources for future generations.

Practices like cover crops, no-till, nutrient management, grassed waterways, and buffer strips can reduce soil erosion, improve soil health, and keep nutrients out of our streams and lakes.

When farmers invest in conservation, they invest in cleaner water, healthier soils, and a stronger future for all of us.

Thank you to the producers, landowners, and partners working every day to improve water quality in the Hillsdale Watershed.
