What a week(s)! The Prairie Woodland Conservation Foundation, with matching grant funds from the Guthrie County Community Foundation, purchased equipment to help our area students thrive in the outdoors. Panorama Elementary 5th graders (pictured here) and Guthrie Center 6th graders each took a week-long journey through School of the Wild at Springbrook State Park in May. Fishing, tracking, archery, atlatl throwing, fire starting, kayaking, wetland habitat exploring, native history learning, hiking, wilderness navigating, shelter building...and so much more! This was an experience the kids (and adults) will never forget. Can't wait for School of the Wild, 2022! 🦋 🦚 🐾 ❤

Today is Giving Tuesday – the Tuesday after Thanksgiving marks a day when many people consider giving financial gifts to nonprofit or charitable organizations. This year, more than ever, nonprofit organizations need support from donors. Many events and in-person fundraisers critical to funding were cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions. Take a few minutes today and think about the organizations you want to help support, and then donate what you can. Every little bit helps.❤️
