🔬✨ Research in the Wild! ✨🔬

Our brilliant youth robotics team traded the classroom for the great outdoors today! 🌲🛰️
We spent the day exploring the park to do vital field research for our Innovation Project. We are focusing our project on studying and protecting a local endangered crayfish species, and today we got to look at their natural habitat firsthand! From investigating ecosystems to brainstorming ideas on playground structures (because great engineering requires creative thinking!), these kids gave it 110%.
We are so proud of their teamwork, curiosity, and passion for local wildlife conservation. Stay tuned to see how our research transforms into our final robotics project design! 🤖🦞

Day 2 of ways to support the Budgie Bots! 🤖 Yesterday we talked about funding, but today is all about time. We literally cannot compete without volunteers helping at events.

FIRST Robotics is made up of an incredible army of volunteers who make the magic happen. From queuing teams and judging, to inspecting robots and running the field—it takes a village to put on a competition. The best part? You don’t need any engineering or technical experience to help out!

Want to get a front-row seat to the action and help us get on the field? Sign up to volunteer here:
