The ALG Legacy Foundation is proud to partner with Rip’s Barber Shop to help ensure students in our community start the school year prepared and confident.

We’re asking our family, friends, businesses, and community partners to join us by donating school supplies or making a monetary contribution. Every backpack, notebook, pencil, and dollar donated makes a difference in the life of a child.

Together, we can help ease the financial burden on families and give students the tools they need for a successful school year.

Today was a special moment for the ALG Legacy Foundation. 💜

What started as a vision to honor the legacy of our mother, Annie Lois Garrett, became reality as my sister and I had the privilege of recognizing our inaugural scholarship and educational assistance recipients.

Standing before these students today reminded me exactly why this foundation was created. We believe that education changes lives, perseverance matters, and dreams deserve support.

Each recipient embodies the values of resilience, determination, hard work, and hope. Their stories are different, but they all share one thing in common they refused to give up on their future.

Watching them receive their awards was a reminder that this is about so much more than financial assistance. It’s about encouragement. It’s about opportunity. It’s about letting students know that someone believes in them and is willing to invest in their success.

To our donors, supporters, family, church family, and friends thank you. None of this would have been possible without your generosity, prayers, and belief in our mission.

Today, we celebrated five deserving students, but this is only the beginning.

We are excited to see all that they accomplish and the impact they will make in the world.

Today my heart is full of gratitude.

When I first launched ALG Legacy Foundation Inc., it began with a vision to honor the legacy of Annie Lois Garrett by creating opportunities for students through education. Because of your generosity, encouragement, prayers, and financial support, that vision is becoming a reality.

I am excited to share that our official ALG Legacy Foundation shirts have arrived!
