THIS is family. ❤️

Not just a team of volunteers who show up to serve...but a family who shows up for one another.

And our recent SFM family worship night was such a beautiful reminder of just how special that is.

A night to lay down the busyness of ministry...the responsibilities, the burdens, the things we're carrying...and simply come together in the presence of Jesus.

To worship. To pray. To laugh. To cry. To encourage one another. To lean on the shoulders of our brothers and sisters when life gets heavy.

To show up exactly as we are...without pretending, without judgment, and without having to carry it all alone.

Because here's something we treasure deeply about this SFM family...

We don't just serve together. We do LIFE together.

We celebrate victories. We walk through struggles. We pray through the hard stuff. We hold each other accountable, encourage one another to keep growing, and remind each other of who we are in Christ when life tries to tell us otherwise.

And that doesn't stop with our volunteer team.

Some of our friends from the streets joined us for worship that night...and goodness, did that make it even sweeter!! ❤️

Because there isn't a separate family for those who serve and those being served. We're brothers and sisters walking through life together...each with our own struggles, gifts, stories, and something beautiful to bring to the table.

As leaders, one of the greatest responsibilities and privileges God has entrusted to us is caring for the hearts of the people who pour so much of themselves into this ministry.

We want to be intentional about pouring back into them...creating space for genuine relationships, spiritual growth, rest, encouragement, and the freedom to be authentically themselves.

Because ministry isn't just about what we DO together...it's about who we're BECOMING as we walk alongside Jesus and one another.

Looking through these photos, we see so much more than a worship night.

We see burdens being laid down. Arms wrapped around one another. Hearts surrendered in worship. Prayers being lifted. Friendships being strengthened. A family growing closer to Jesus and to each other.

And we are so incredibly grateful that God has brought each of these beautiful souls into our lives.

This is the kind of community we pray everyone gets to experience...a place where you are known, loved, encouraged, challenged, and reminded that YOU BELONG HERE. ❤️

Sometimes the most beautiful transformations happen where nobody sees them...a little peak behind the doors❤️

Behind every meal served, every shower provided, and every piece of clothing handed to a friend in the streets...there's a whole lot of work happening behind the scenes.

And sometimes, that work can feel downright overwhelming!!

Our warehouse has been one of those places. With donations constantly coming in and supplies going out to meet needs in the streets, keeping everything organized and accessible has been a mountain we've struggled to climb. We have HUNDREDS of totes that store donations for all of our ministry outreaches but didn't have any easy way to access them...making collecting, sorting, organizing, and distributing items daunting for our donation coordinator, Nichole.

But then...some pretty incredible people stepped in and did what we couldn't accomplish on our own.

An Eagle Scout from Troop #317 took on the enormous task of transforming our warehouse storage as his Eagle Scout project. He organized a team, raised the funds for materials, and led the building of an entire shelving system to help us better manage the donations entrusted to our ministry.

And then our Central Christian Church mission team rolled up their sleeves and tackled the next mountain...sorting through EVERY piece of clothing and organizing it all so we could finally see exactly what we have, what we need, and how to get it into the hands of our friends more efficiently.

Y'ALL...THE TRANSFORMATION!! 🙌

What once felt like an impossible task became something beautiful because people were willing to give their time, talents, resources, and hearts.

And here's what we love most about this...

**These aren't just shelves. And these aren't just organized clothes.**

They're clean clothes after a shower. A fresh pair of socks. A warm jacket when the temperatures drop. They're the ability to meet a need with dignity, without digging through mountains of donations to find the right size.

They're a reminder that every gift and every act of service matters...even the ones that happen far away from the streets.

To our Eagle Scout from Troop #317, his incredible team, and everyone who supported his project...THANK YOU for seeing a need and stepping up to meet it!

To our Central Christian Church - Mt. Vernon family...THANK YOU for taking on a task that seemed never-ending and serving with such willing hearts!

**Together, you took something that felt impossible and made it possible for us to love and serve our friends even better.**

To our Donation Coordinator, Nichole Rambaran, and the entire SFM team that helps with donations...THANK YOU for your continuous work to ensure our friends' needs are met!

**It's the little moments that made this day so BIG. ❤️**

We've been looking back through the photos from Walk With Jesus...and our hearts are still so incredibly full!!

Not just because of how many people showed up or how much was raised...but because of all the beautiful little moments woven throughout the day.

The laughter. The hugs. The conversations. The worship. The joy of seeing old friends and the excitement of making new ones.

Families walking together...churches coming together...people of all ages and from all walks of life sharing something special.

And some of our sweetest moments? Seeing our friends from the streets show up...not just to walk alongside us, but to serve alongside us, too. ❤️

There was something so beautiful about watching people connect who might never have crossed paths otherwise. No walls. No labels. Just people loving people, encouraging one another, and enjoying the gift of community.

**And THAT is what we had hoped for when Walk With Jesus was first placed on our hearts.**

Yes, together we raised over $37,000 to help continue the mission of Salty Farm Ministries...and we are incredibly grateful for every person who gave, sponsored, walked, and served!!

But the greatest blessing of that day wasn't something we could count or measure.

It was the relationships being built. The love being shared. The reminder that we were never meant to walk through life alone.

To our incredible volunteers, sponsors, churches, teams, friends, and everyone who helped make this day possible...THANK YOU for being part of something so beautiful.

As we look through ALL these photos, we see so much more than an event...we see **COMMUNITY.** And we pray that the friendships and connections made that day continue to grow long after the last footsteps left the sand.

Because when we come together with open hearts and a willingness to love one another...God does something beautiful.

Step in faith. Walk with purpose. Walk together. ❤️

Sometimes the biggest steps forward begin with simply saying YES. ❤️

For a while now, one of our friends on the street has been talking about wanting to enter a program...wanting something different for his life...knowing that change was needed, but not quite ready to take that step.

Today was the day.

Today, he climbed into the truck with our incredible team and headed to CHROME to begin a new chapter.

And while getting into that truck might seem like such a simple thing to some...we know just how BIG that step really was.

Because wanting a different life and being willing to surrender to the changes necessary to live it are two very different things.

We know the road ahead won't always be easy. There will be challenges, hard days, and moments when surrender will have to become a daily choice. But we also know that God has been working in his heart long before today.

This is why we keep showing up. Why we build relationships. Why we walk alongside our friends even when they're not quite ready to take that next step.

Because when the day comes that they ARE ready...we want to be right there to walk with them.

We're incredibly thankful for our team who made sure he didn't have to take this step alone and for our ministry partners at Chrome Retreat who are there to receive him.
