Yesterday's tournament marked the end of the 2026 season for Palos Starlets Girls Flag Football. A big thank you to everyone who played, coached, volunteered, drove kids to practice or games, or came out to cheer on the teams. A big thank you to all the teams that participated in our end of the season tournament. Each team that took the field yesterday played better and more cohesive than the start of the season. Every player walked away knowing more and excited to play. Congratulations to all our teams but especially to the champions for each division.

WOMEN’S FLAG FOOTBALL: Saint Xavier University will join 35 other colleges that will debut varsity women’s flag football in spring 2027. Wade Bittner has been tapped as head coach. Outreach recruitment is happening now.

🚨🚨Calling all family, friends, neighbors, High School Flag teams, High school Flag coaches: Come out and cheer on these wonderful female athletes!🚨🚨

They have all learned so much and grown in the sport. 2 games are played at the same time on our main field. All high action packed and thrilling plays by these great Starlets players. 🏈💜🏈🩷🏈💚🏈🧡🏈
