What is the Bay Area Christian Church?

Bay Area Christian Church is an independent non-denominational Christian church in the Bay Area with 9 locations including Sunnyvale, Palo Alto, San Jose and many more across the region. We are group of people striving to practice Christianity just like the Bible describes in the New Testament. You could say we are a "family of New Testament Christians." We go by the Bible, we love each other, and

we are passionate about changing lives with the good news of Christianity. Through the Bible, God provides all the answers we need in life. So we practice engaging relationships to help one another follow His word and be the best that we can be in all walks of life. Campus students and single professionals learn to lead and make a difference with their lives. Married couples get a plentiful amount of help in building their marriages and raising kids. We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us. 1 Thessalonians 2:8

We've been a part of the Bay Area for decades, and during that time, we have become an integral part of the community. Here are some unique events and programs that serve our friends and neighbors:

E-Soccer & E-Karate: Fully-inclusive sports programs that help both special needs and typical kids learn some skills, have fun, and make friends. These programs now serve over 200 kids and families throughout the Bay Area. Spiritual Resource Ministry: Children's ministry class for special needs kids that allows parents to attend services with total confidence that their kids are being taken care of, learning, and having a great time. HOPE Technology School: A cutting edge full-inclusion school that uses small class size and dedicated professionals to provide a great education to all types of kids. Women's Day: Annual events that give women the chance to hear inspiring teaching, make new friends, and change their lives for the better. Over 20,000 women have attended these events over the past decade. Bay Area Hoops: An open basketball league that gives men the chance for highly competitive play in a friendly environment. Y-ministry: A program that teaches our next generation (middle-schoolers and teens) to live with conviction, courage and faith. Its purpose is to help these kids answer the "why questions" of life. Over 80 volunteers and ministry interns work with kids in all parts of the Bay Area. If you'd like more details about any of these programs or would like to get involved, ask any member of our church or call our office at (650) 561-7049 . We want to be a visionary church. We look to the future and see a world made better because of the influence of New Testament Christians. We are committed to make that vision a reality.

For 26 years, our E-Programs have helped create hope, belonging, and new opportunities for children and families.

From community fields to the same court where the Warriors play, we want every child to feel seen, supported, and included.

Following Jesus is more than what happens on Sunday—it means serving, loving, and meeting the needs around us.

“Whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone.” — Galatians 6:10 NLT

This is who we are!

At our 30th Shoreline Service, people from across the Bay Area and beyond came together for a day of faith, fun, friendship, and hope.

We’re here to make God known and do good, following the example of Jesus:

“Jesus went around doing good.” — Acts 10:38

Leadership doesn’t begin with a title. It begins when someone is seen, supported, and given room to grow.

At the Bay Area Christian Church, we invest in younger generations through spiritual mentorship, deep friendships, leadership training, and real opportunities to serve. Today, 50% of our leadership team is made up of Gen Z and millennials—and that didn’t happen overnight. It grew through generations choosing to invest in one another.

The goal isn’t simply having younger leadership. It’s people being formed from the inside out—discovering God, finding purpose, and using their lives to make an impact.

You don’t have to build your life alone. Find your place at one of our nine Bay Area campuses through the link in our bio.

Maybe God isn’t as far away as he feels. Maybe something is just blocking the view.

At our Shoreline service, we explored four veils that can keep us from seeing God clearly: tradition, sin, unbelief, and fear. But no veil has to stay up forever.

Swipe through and ask yourself: What veil is ready to come down?

What difference could you make if you just asked the simple question: “What if I could help?” ❤️

Real impact happens when people choose to show up for their community.

Through our partnership with the Stockton Office of Violence Prevention (OVP), we’ve been able to help families, invest in youth, and bring hope to people facing difficult circumstances.

At the Bay Area Christian Church, we believe in walking with God, making him known, and doing good wherever we go, regardless of religious affiliation. We are grateful to partner with organizations like the OVP that are making such a difference in our community!

🏆 Congrats to our 3-on-3 champs!

18 teams stepped on the court at our annual tournament at Shoreline — and when the dust settled, our Men’s and High School division winners walked away with the grand prize. Great competition, greater brotherhood.

“Sing to God with thanks in your hearts.” Colossians 3:16 NIrV

The Shoreline setlist is still living rent-free in our heads 🎶✨

This year’s theme was “Shine,” and every singer, musician, and crew member helped bring that message to life. Each song reminded us that God can use us to bring hope and light into a world that needs it.

We hope the music didn’t just move you in the moment, we hope the message stays with you. 💛
