Open gym/skills will be held at Palmer High School on May 27th, 28th and June 3rd from 11:00 am -1:00 pm. If you are interested in playing, please plan to attend! We are organizing teams to participate in the Alaska Basketball Academy Team Camp (known as Colony Camp to a few!), which runs June 8th-11th. Information will be shared with parents and players at open gym.

Welcome, Coach Kelly!

Please join us in welcoming Coach Kelly as the new head coach of the Palmer Girls Basketball program!

Coach Kelly will be holding a player/parent meeting on Monday, May 18th at 6:00 pm in the PHS gym. We encourage all current and interested players and their families to attend!

Palmer High School is proud to announce the hiring of Chandice Kelly as the new Head Coach of the Palmer Moose Girls Basketball program.

Coach Kelly brings an outstanding basketball background and a proven record of leadership and success both on and off the court. A former standout high school athlete, she continued her playing career at the NCAA Division I level before competing professionally overseas. Her extensive experience as a player at the highest levels of the game provides a strong foundation for mentoring and developing student-athletes.

Following her playing career, coach Kelly transitioned into coaching, where she quickly established herself as a respected leader at the youth and high school levels. Most notably, she guided her program to a State Runner-Up finish in 2024.

Her accomplishments in coaching have earned widespread recognition throughout Alaska basketball, including being named the AABC Basketball Coach of the Year and the Frontiersman Female Coach of the Year.


Palmer High School looks forward to the next chapter of Moose Girls Basketball under coach Kelly’s leadership.

Coach Kelly will be holding a player/ parent meeting on Monday May 18th in the PHS gym at 6:00pm before holding her first open gym with the Moose.

💙🏀 Celebrating Our Season & Honoring Our Seniors 🏀💙

Last night, we wrapped up an incredible season with our Lady Moose JV and Varsity teams, and what a year it has been.

One of our favorite traditions is recognizing our seniors as they leave their mark—literally—on our program. Watching them place their handprints on the locker room wall is always a special moment. It’s a reminder that they will forever be a part of Lady Moose Basketball and the legacy they helped build. 💙

To our seniors: thank you for your leadership, dedication, and the example you’ve set for those who follow. You’ve made us proud.

We also want to extend a huge THANK YOU to our parents, families, fans, and sponsors. Your support, energy, and commitment throughout the season mean everything to our players and program. We couldn’t do it without you.

And a special shoutout to in Palmer for helping us celebrate with a sweet ending to a great season! 🍦

🏀 Reminder: End of Season Banquet Tomorrow! 🍦

Palmer Lady Moose Basketball families—don’t forget we’ll be celebrating our season Tuesday night at 7:00 PM in the Palmer High cafeteria!

Join us for an ice cream social with all the toppings as we celebrate a great season together!

🍨 Families are welcome to bring a dessert to share (optional), but please NO peanuts or peanut butter due to a player allergy.

👕 Players: Please remember to bring:
• Your jersey set
• Your practice jerseys
• Your travel pants

✨ Following the banquet, we will continue our tradition of senior handprints on the locker room wall.

We’ll be celebrating all the hard work, growth, and memories from this season with a fun ice cream social—complete with all the toppings! 🍨

Families and players are also welcome (but not required) to bring their favorite dessert to share.

✨ Celebrate our season together
✨ Share upcoming post-season & pre-season plans
✨ Talk about summer camp opportunities
