These images were taken on vacant lots near newly built homes and public schools in the Antelope Valley.

Illegal dumping in these areas creates serious safety and environmental concerns. Children walk through these lots on their way to school. Families live nearby. Wildlife is directly impacted by debris, chemicals, and unstable materials left behind.

This kind of blight doesn’t happen by accident, and it doesn’t fix itself. While the City continues to address the issue with limited funding and resources, community involvement plays a critical role in closing the gap and keeping attention on the problem.

We are not here to assign blame, rather we are here to bring awareness and energy from the community towards the issue. Protecting our neighborhoods and making clear that neglect is not acceptable anywhere in the Antelope Valley.

Our work will continue, and we invite residents who care about safety, dignity, and stewardship to be part of it.
