After months of prayer, preparation, and anticipation, we gather for the livestream tonight —and our hearts are full.

For 20 years, we have watched God faithfully provide every step of the way. What began as a calling has grown into a movement of compassion—touching lives across the world. Clean water has flowed where there was none. A hospital now serves those who once had no access to care. Farmers have been equipped. Families have been strengthened. Hope has been restored.

And none of this has happened alone.

So many of you have been part of this story—through your prayers, your generosity, your encouragement, and your willingness to say “yes” when God prompted your heart. You are part of every life impacted.

Tonight is more than a celebration—it’s an opportunity.

Resurrection Sunday.

The stone was rolled away. The grave is empty. And hope stepped out into the light.

Today we celebrate more than a moment in history—we celebrate the victory of life over death, freedom over sin, and light over darkness. Because Jesus walked out of that tomb, we are reminded that no situation is beyond redemption, no heart is too far gone, and no story is finished.

The resurrection is not just something we remember—it’s something we carry.

He is risen. And because He lives, hope lives.

Some things you can't remember, and others you will never forget. Here is one of the churches we built along the Amazon River several years back. The beauty of the river, the peacefulness and the appreciation of the people...they had a pastor, now they will have a church building in which to gather!

📚 Spreading God’s Word Across the World! 🌍
In Kenya, India, and the Dominican Republic, we’ve had the privilege of placing Bibles into the hands of people who have been praying for God's written Word. In 2025 alone, 3,388 Bibles were distributed bringing our total to 33,827 over time.

For most of them, it’s the first time they’ve ever owned a Bible in their own language — a treasure that opens the door to hope, truth, and eternal life. 🙌

Imagine being part of the joy on a mother’s face as she reads the promises of God to her children…
The light in a young man’s eyes as he discovers his identity in Christ…
The peace that fills a family’s home as they gather around God’s Word together. ✨

In 2005 Rhonda and I, along with Dr. Vilma Vega made a commitment to serve others by creating HEARTS AFIRE according to obedience to God.

On April 11, 2026 at 7pm ET | 6pm CT | 5pm MT | 4pm PT
we will celebrate right here on our FB page with our 20th Anniversary benefit; highlighting experiences from the past 20 years, and looking forward into the future. You are invited!

During these last 20 years we have done and seen more than I would have ever guessed. More than 1000 people have served on the mission field with us and countless partners in other countries have served and continue to serve.

Teachers and students in Malili, Kenya expressing joy after receiving the 10 bags of corn we provided. One 90 kg bag of corn will provide 10 families of 8 people ONE meal every day for a week. And they are happy to have that one meal.

We were first introduced to Malili a few years ago when they were experiencing a drought. It is a very dry area where we put in a well and put up some school buildings.

Another more severe drought has struck. Food has become scarce and that's why we have stepped in.

‘For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; -Matthew 25:35

Take a look at how this HEARTS AFIRE well in a drought ridden area of Kenya has transformed dry, dusty land into a fertile land providing nutritious fruits and vegetables. And the impact on how people can experience life!

Often we only think about how important water is for water's sake and all it does toward quenching thirst, providing hydration and keeping people clean. It also restores hope, dignity, a future and LIFE!

It’s always exciting to see the “fruits” of your giving…
Seed packets given out to pastors in India when we were there in November 2025 are producing vegetables with vital nutrients in areas of lack.

God also said, “Look, I have given you every seed-bearing plant on the surface of the entire earth and every tree whose fruit contains seed. This will be food for you, -Genesis 1:29

We honor the faith and partnership of our beloved brother Bishop Joseph Likavo. He has been a mainstay in the work that God has assigned us to in Kenya together. His work, leadership and compassion will be remembered and the vision he had for his people and his area live on.
