But do this with gentleness and respect." ~ 1 Peter 3:15-16 Set Apart is a group of homeschool students, ages 12-18, in the high and low desert areas of Palm Springs, California, who meet regularly to refine their communication skills via the events offered by the Stoa Speech and Debate League. Starting out as a Team-Policy debate team in the Fall of 2008, Set Apart expanded to include training in

Lincoln Douglas debate and all ten speech events, establishing a reputation for itself through leadership and service as well as competitive success.
