We’re kicking off the school year with a special Girls of L.I.G.H.T. Back-to-School Event this Friday from 5–7 PM!

This week, we’re focusing on THRIVING — and helping girls learn different ways to handle stress, navigate challenges, and take care of themselves. 🌱💚

We’ll have fun, hands-on activities designed to give girls practical tools they can use throughout the school year.

Talking with your child doesn't have to be a formal sit-down discussion. Some of the most meaningful conversations happen during everyday moments, like the drive to school, while making dinner, or taking a walk together.

Try asking one of these questions today:
💬 What's something you're looking forward to this school year?
💬 What's something that's been challenging lately?
💬 If you could change one thing about school this year, what would it be?

You don't have to have all the answers. Your child doesn't expect you to. What matters most is creating a space where they know they can come to you with
anything.
