🐾❤️ HAPPY GOTCHA DAY, STORMY! ❤️🐾

Stormy came to Bumper Bulldog Rescue—and everything changed. She received the medical care she needed, including her spay and BOAS surgery, and most importantly, she learned what it feels like to be truly loved. 🥰

And now, our sweet girl has found her FOREVER HOME! 🏡❤️ With a four-legged sibling, a cozy couch, endless belly rubs, and a family ready to spoil her, Stormy is finally living the life she has always deserved.

A very special thank you to Deborah and Ellen for being such an important part of Stormy’s journey and for being the bridge that helped lead her to her forever family. It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful you were part of hers. ❤️🐾

BUMPER GIRL COOKIE NEEDS OUR PRAYERS ❤️🐾

Please keep our sweet Cookie in your thoughts and prayers. We recently learned that she has tested positive for heartworm.

As with every dog who comes into our rescue, Bumper Bulldog Rescue is committed to giving Cookie the veterinary care she needs. She will receive the appropriate heartworm treatment and all the care and support necessary throughout her recovery.

This is exactly why rescue matters. Sometimes the dogs who come through our doors are carrying medical conditions we can’t see—but once they become a Bumper dog, we are committed to seeing them through. ❤️‍🩹

Cookie’s diagnosis is also an important reminder of why yearly heartworm testing and consistent heartworm prevention are so imperative. Please have your dogs tested every year and keep them protected with monthly heartworm prevention or the yearly heartworm prevention injection, as recommended by your veterinarian. Prevention can make all the difference. 🦟❤️

Cookie has a journey ahead of her, but she won’t be taking it alone.

Please keep Ghost in your thoughts and prayers. 🙏

Our sweet Ghost was seen by our vet today after experiencing some breathing issues.

He had BOAS surgery when he initially arrived into the rescue.

Today, he underwent X-rays and had blood work drawn as we try to figure out exactly what is going on.

For now, we’re waiting on the blood work results and the pathology report and hoping they give us some answers. ❤️‍🩹

Ghost is such a special boy, and we know how many people have fallen in love with him and his sweet face. Please send him all the prayers, positive thoughts, and Bumper love you can.

We’ll update everyone as soon as we know more.

Just sitting here feeling incredibly grateful that my dogs allow me to live in their house. 😂🐾

They sleep in luxury, lounge on the furniture, have their meals prepared and served, enjoy an endless supply of toys and treats, and receive around-the-clock attention.

Meanwhile, every morning they send me off to work so I can continue funding the lifestyle to which they have become accustomed. 💸🐶

I’m basically the staff.

They don’t have jobs. They have ME. 🤣❤️

And somehow… I’m the lucky one. 🐾❤️

Diesel, you picked the perfect family, and we truly couldn’t be happier for you. Seeing one of our Bumper kids find exactly where they belong is what rescue is all about.
