The Leadership Alliance met on Saturday, December 7, to review our successes and challenges during 2024 and strategize on our continued work in 2025. We thank everyone who attended the meeting, and we want to thank two elected officials who came: Commissioner Joel Flores and Debra Tendrich, State Representative.
We understand the importance of having access to our local political leaders and look forward to working with them.

As a collective of members from different organizations in Palm Beach County, the Alliance is unique in that we are nonpartisan and engage, educate, advance, and promote policies and projects to uplift and empower the lives of Latinos in Palm Beach.

All interested in attending our monthly meetings are invited to attend and participate.
We look forward to continuing to work together as we uplift the Latino community in 2025.

In this interview by Abraham Segundo, our dynamic Claudia Mendoza, an Alliance’s co-founder, shares some of her immigrant story, her move from Colombia to Florida, and how she began her work with the community. Claudia’s message of hard work, perseverance, and the importance of networking and surrounding yourself with people who support each other is valuable and inspiring.

As an organization whose mission is to support and advance Latinos in Palm Beach County, we are proud of Claudia and all she does to serve the community.

On Tuesday, September 3, 2024, Latino Leadership Alliance Members accepted a Hispanic Heritage Month proclamation from the city of Greenacres. We thank Councilwoman Susy Diaz for presenting the declaration.

In the past meeting we have heard several committee presentations and reports and have launched the business outreach committee. We are on fire! Thank you to all who participated; together, we are stronger.

Alianza de Liderazgo Latino tuvo una reunión extraordinaria muy productiva.

Las respuestas de la comunidad a estas reuniones mensuales han sido muy positivas, las personas se involucran cada vez más, participan con preguntas y brindan sus perspectivas.

Alianza de Liderazgo Latino, insta a la comunidad latina a que se tiene que estar firme, con la misión de tener un grupo y un espacio donde la comunidad pueda reunirse y apoyarse una a otra.
