Southeast Florida Behavioral Health Network

Southeast Florida Behavioral Health Network SEFBHN provides assistance to individuals living in Palm Beach, Okeechobee and the Treasure Coast.

Why We Do This:

It's up to us to inspire hope and give it cause. We do that by painting pictures of independence, acknowledging personal strengths, being advocating voices, or sometimes just sharing laughs. To help people achieve recovery and self-sufficiency, we build on their personal strengths and resources. Our goal is to help them be contributing members of their communities, and to have the

ability to pursue relationships, jobs, and recreation, all with independence and self-direction. Our network of service providers includes over forty private and non-profit service agencies that offer a wide variety of science and evidenced based mental health and substance abuse services. This network of providers work collaboratively and in partnership with SEFBHN to create a system of care that is designed to encourage and facilitate the journey through recovery for each individual served. Our Vision:

Our vision is a seamless, accessible, recovery-oriented system of behavioral health care driven by consumers, providers, and other stakeholders, in which innovation and collaboration are the norm and diversified financial resources comfortably support an array of prevention and treatment practices leading to excellent outcomes for individuals served, providers, and the community.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month!

This video highlights artwork from teens in our community. These art pieces were submitted in our 2023 and 2024 virtual art show. This virtual art show is held in May every year and serves as a "kick-off" for Mental Health Awareness Month.

All of the submissions in this video came from teens attending the Lindsey School of the Arts located in Fort Pierce, Florida. The poem was submitted and read by Ma'Leak.

To all the teens who participated in this project, we thank you. We hope you are doing great things on a daily basis. Thank you for your creativity and thank you for your words.

If you, or someone you know is experiencing a change in your mental health or wellbeing, you are not alone. Help is out there. Please call 2-1-1 from any phone for services in your area or call us at 561-203-2485.
