❤️ THE MAN BEHIND THE MADNESS ❤️

Everyone sees Isla's Journey.

They see the missing dogs that come home. They see the rescues. They see the pet pantry. They see the events, the fundraisers, the late-night calls, the endless posts, and the victories we celebrate together.

What they don't always see is the man standing quietly behind it all.

The one who never asks for recognition.

The one who supports every crazy idea I have, every emergency call I answer, and every dog that needs help.

The one who celebrates the wins with me and carries the heartbreak when things don't go the way we hoped.

The one who calms me down when I'm overwhelmed, reminds me to keep going when I'm exhausted, and somehow manages to be my rock through all of it.

While working a full-time job, he steps in without hesitation when duty calls. He takes care of our kids, handles things at home, and never complains when rescue pulls me away from family dinners, weekends, holidays, or much-needed sleep.

When I'm chasing a lost dog, he's holding everything together behind the scenes.

When I'm questioning whether I can keep doing this, he's the one reminding me why I started.

He doesn't do it for recognition. He does it because he believes in this mission, believes in these animals, and believes in me.

So today, I want to say thank you to my husband, Daniel Larson.

Thank you for being the calm to my chaos. Thank you for being the strength behind Isla's Journey. Thank you for standing beside me through every success, every setback, and every impossible situation.

None of this would be possible without you.

$5 = Treats for a family struggling to keep their pet.

$10 = Leash and collar for a dog whose family has fallen on hard times.

🐾 Remember the terrified chocolate Lab running through June Park? 🐾

When we first started receiving sightings, she didn't even have a name.

For over a week, she ran through the streets of June Park in Melbourne, terrified of people and impossible to approach. After days of searching, tracking sightings, and patiently waiting, Isla's Journey was finally able to bring her to safety.

Today, that same dog is known as Lilly. ❤️

While she's currently being treated for a double ear infection and some skin issues, her transformation has been incredible. The dog who once ran from everyone now spends her days ruling the house alongside her foster brothers.

Lilly is learning that people can be trusted, beds are comfy, meals are guaranteed, and she's finally safe.

Watching her go from a scared, nameless dog surviving on the streets to a happy, loved family member is exactly why we do what we do.

Keep cheering Lilly on as she continues her healing journey. Her best days are still ahead of her. ❤️

💜 BELLA IS SAFE 💜

Bella's world changed in an instant.

This beautiful German Shepherd was found curled up beside her owner after they had passed away. Confused, grieving, and terrified, Bella stayed by the only person she had ever known.

She was brought to the shelter, scared and unsure of what would happen next.

Then a wonderful family stepped forward and opened their hearts to her. They wanted to give Bella a second chance at happiness.

But just hours after arriving at her new home, the unthinkable happened.

Bella escaped.

A dog who had already endured so much was suddenly lost and alone.

As soon as we received the call, Isla's Journey jumped into action. Flyers covered neighborhoods, volunteers searched tirelessly, and we prayed for sightings. Our friends at Paws Angels also stepped up to help bring Bella home safely. Every hour that passed felt like an eternity.

Then finally, we got the call we had been waiting for.

A sighting.

We rushed out with a trap and set up in the area.

The hours crawled by.

All night.

All day.

Nothing.

Then, at 6:00 PM Tuesday evening, our phones lit up.

Bella had entered the trap.

Bella was safe.

After losing her owner, enduring the shelter, and finding herself lost once again, Bella's journey finally led her back to safety.

A huge thank you to everyone who shared her posts, reported sightings, searched, supported, and refused to give up on her—including the team at Paws Angels. It truly takes a village to bring these dogs home.

Moments like this are why we do what we do.

🚨 We Need To Have An Honest Conversation 🚨

Every day we see hundreds of comments telling us how amazing the Pet Pantry is.

We see the shares.
We see the likes.
We see the support.

And we are incredibly grateful.

But the truth is...

Likes don't fill pantry shelves.

Shares don't buy dog food.

Comments don't build new pantry locations.

Right now, we have people throughout Brevard County asking us to bring a Pet Pantry to their community. The desire is there. The need is there.

The funding is not.

If just a fraction of the people who support us online donated even $5 today, we could begin expanding these pantries and helping hundreds more pets stay in their homes.
