Today ministry looked a little different.
We visited Nadin and while we were there, we prayed over his grandmother who suffers from chronic back pain.
When you care for a child with special needs, you quickly realize you are not just treating the patient—you are often ministering to the caregiver as well.
This grandmother carries more than the weight of chronic back pain. She carries the daily responsibility of loving and caring for Nadin. Years of lifting, comforting, and sacrificing have taken a toll on her body. She currently sleeps on a mattress that no longer provides the support she needs, and a better mattress could make a tremendous difference in helping relieve her pain and improve her rest.
We prayed not that her faith would be in us, but that her hope would be firmly placed in God—the One who sees every tear, knows every burden, and carries what we cannot.
At Labor of Love, we believe healing is more than medicine. Sometimes healing begins with prayer, encouragement, and reminding someone that God has not forgotten them.
Please join us in prayer as she needs a better mattress for her back.
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28
