OFFICIAL DEMAND: KSP, STOP THE SHIELD & REVEAL THE TRUTH. 📢⚖️
As we prepare to lay Ray’Shawn Lamont Tucker to rest tomorrow, the 913 Dem Halls Community and Justice Center has officially filed a formal demand for transparency with KSP Post 1.
We have seen the responses being given to the public, claiming that releasing facts would "taint a jury." That excuse is unacceptable.
🔴 KSP IS THE GATEKEEPER: The Department of Corrections (Probation & Parole) officers are the ones who violated policy and entered that home, but KSP is the agency in charge of the investigation. By not correcting the record, KSP is co-signing a smear campaign to protect their own peers.
🔴 THE "BRANDON" TRUTH: KSP, your investigators know the officers were calling a man "BRANDON" while he was standing in his own home. If they didn’t even have the right name, they didn't have the right man. Admitting this mistake isn’t "tainting a jury"—it’s providing an accurate report of an illegal encounter.
🔴 THE LEASE IS THE PROOF: KSP has the records. They know Ray’Shawn was the only legal resident at 2821 Marquees Drive. Why haven't they clarified that the Department of Corrections had NO legal right to be on that property? The truth is on paper, and y'all can't change that.
🔴 THE "TAINTED JURY" EXCUSE: You claim you're protecting the grand jury, but you are the ones poisoning public opinion! You’ve allowed a one-sided narrative to smear a man’s character while his family prepares for a funeral. You aren't worried about the jury; you're worried about the TRUTH.
🔴 WHERE IS THE HUMANITY? 🕊️ You are talking to your peers who believe the system doesn't make mistakes. But where is the humanity for this family? If a normal citizen forced their way into a home, they would be behind bars. Why the double standard for the Department of Corrections?
