🧡 June is Gun Violence Awareness Month 🧡

As we recognize Gun Violence Awareness Month, the Aundra Lambert Jr. Family Over Everything Foundation encourages every person, family, organization, and community to take an active role in creating safer and healthier environments for our children, families, and neighborhoods.

Gun violence impacts more than individuals it affects entire families, schools, churches, workplaces, and communities. Prevention begins with all of us. We can make a difference by:

✔ Promoting safe firearm storage practices
✔ Having honest conversations about gun safety
✔ Supporting youth mentorship and positive community programs
✔ Advocating for violence prevention efforts
✔ Checking on families affected by violence and loss
✔ Providing spaces for healing, hope, and restoration
✔ Building stronger connections within our communities

While we work toward prevention, we also recognize that many families continue to carry the pain of loss. Grief does not follow a timeline, and no one should have to walk that journey alone.

🧡 The Aundra Lambert Jr. “Family Over Everything” Foundation Grief Support Group meets every third Saturday to provide a safe, supportive space for survivors and families impacted by gun violence and other traumatic losses.

Together, we remember. Together, we heal. Together, we advocate. Together, we build stronger communities.

We must hold the gun industry accountable; they are the ones responsible for all the guns on the streets that end up in the wrong hands. Did you know 96% of crime guns were traced back to a purchase from a licensed gun dealer inventory! Until we advocate for change nothing changes!

Surviving gun violence changed my life forever—but it did not silence my voice. I share my story to bring awareness, healing, and hope to families who are navigating unimaginable pain. My story is not just about survival; it’s about purpose, advocacy, and the power of faith to carry us through the unthinkable.

If my voice can help one mother, one family, one community choose healing over hopelessness—then every moment of vulnerability is worth it.
