FCVCI kicked off Graduation season with their Baccalaureate Mass on May 24, 2026. 🙏🏼 Thanks to all the family and friends who joined us for the Mass and reception. And Kudos to all the volunteers that coordinated such a wonderful event. 🎉

Our community lost a truly devoted supporter this past week. Verninio “Verny” Balitao Basila touched many lives through his involvement in organizations like the Zambales Association, Pangasinan Association, Augustine Recollect, and the Filipino Community of Ventura County, Inc. (FCVCI). He gave generously of his time to community projects, supported countless events through the catering team, and shared kindness, humility, and warmth with everyone he met.

His legacy lives on through his beloved family, who continue to uplift and strengthen our community and culture.

Thank you, Tito Verny, for your service and love. You will be deeply missed.

Our heartfelt condolences to Tita Angie, Grace, Sonia, Vern, Lauren, and the entire Basila family. May he rest in peace. 🕊️

Thanks to all those who attended our FCVCI Get Together at The Canyon - Agoura Hills on Saturday. 🎶 We had a great turnout of Salute to the Graduates Alumni, family, and friends. Alumni ranging from 1980 to 1995 and past Salute Parents joined the fun and we all enjoyed a flashback to the 80s with the Fast Times Band. Special thanks to DJ Kuya Ray for helping to coordinate our special guest list and for keeping us grooving and dancing once the band finished. Hope to see more Salute Alumni and friends at our next gathering. 🎉

Get • The Filipino American Council of Ventura County’s invites you to its 3rd Annual Bayanihan Bowling Tournament on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Buena Lanes in Ventura!
🌟 This promises to be a day full of fun, camaraderie, and friendly competition! Pre-registration is only $45, but be sure to secure your spot before the March 25th deadline. For those spontaneous bowlers, a $55 registration fee will be accepted at the door.

🎁 In addition to the main event, there will be scratch and handicap side pots, lotto, a 50/50 drawing, and more surprises. The stakes are high, with fantastic prizes going to the Top 5 bowlers (based on the number of entries)!
🤝 Best of all, every penny raised will support the Filipino American Council of Ventura County, helping us continue our mission and make a positive impact in the community.
