Today is Giving Tuesday, a global generosity movement and day of giving. We are so very thankful for all of our generous donors! If you are able, we would love to have your support for our next project, restoration of the 12 louvered fan shutters over the windows and doors and the 10 window shutters. The shutters are very badly deteriorated with missing pieces and severe rot. The cost to repair, replace is $28,000 for the fan shutters and $32,000 for the window shutters. Can we do it? With your help, yes we can!!! Find the PayPal button on this page, go to our website at Bellhillmeetinghouse.com and click on more-membership and support, or simply mail your donation to Bell Hill Meetinghouse Association, PO Box 85, Oxford, ME 04270. Thank you!

We are saddened by the death of our long-time friend, Phil Smith. Phil was the owner of Phil Smith Painting and over the years, he did many fine painting jobs at both the Meetinghouse and the Schoolhouse. He even braved the height and painted the bell tower dome. Phil was supportive of our mission to restore and maintain these historic buildings and we deeply appreciate all that he did for us. Rest in peace, our friend.
