October GMM | Building a Safer Community
At Monday’s General Membership Meeting, Junior League of Oxford was honored to welcome Valerie Booth, Community Response Team Coordinator with the Oxford Police Department, as our special guest!
Valerie shared Walk in Her Shoes, an interactive program designed to help participants better understand community safety by encouraging them to consider the experiences, challenges, and safety concerns women may face in their daily lives.
Through this experience, our members were reminded of the importance of awareness, empathy, and working together to create a community where everyone feels safe, supported, and empowered.
