Join us (virtually!!) for Genocide Awareness month!! Armenians for Human Rights is proud to be partnering with this week for their annual April genocide awareness, from April 5th to April 9th. The very first event that they’ll be featuring is an Armenian Priest, , who was born in Armenia and studied to become a priest there as well. The event will be @ 7 pm. On Wednesday, The Miami Student reported on the Oxford City Council recognizing the Republic of Artsakh and condemning any acts of violence against Armenian people, by groups of any ethnicity, race or religion. Two seniors, and presented their case in front of City Council during their meeting on February 2nd, sparking more debate than City Council meetings usually saw. What we are thankful for here at : Yesterday the French Senate called on the French government to officially recognize the sovereignty of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. This would mean that the populace of that territory would be able to make decisions on its own. 305 out of the total 306 French senators voted the resolution through and continue to urge the entire French government to make an official declaration.
