The City of Flemingsburg would proudly like to invite our community to attend the dedication of the Franklin Sousley Memorial Park in downtown Flemingsburg. Please share this with anyone who would like to attend. Refreshments will be available at the Fleming County Covered Bridge Museum, and the Ribbon Cutting will take place after the dedication. Have a great weekend!

This Saturday September 19, 2026, for National POW/MIA Recognition Day, Task Force Omega will leave the Church of God (320 Slate Ave., Owingsville, KY 40360) at 11:00 am to ride to the Fleming Co. POW/MIA Memorial and leave there to eat at the Flemingsburg Stockyards Restaurant.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO GO WITH US

The United States’ National POW/MIA Recognition Day is observed across the nation on the third Friday of September each year. Americans take the time to remember those who are or were at one time prisoners of war (POW) and those who are still missing in action (MIA), as well as their families. Remember our POW/MIAs and what TFO of KY is about. We must never forget.
