Congratulations to Caden Carpenter on being selected as this year’s recipient of the Garrett Braun Foundation Scholarship! We are honored to award our 6th scholarship in memory of our son Garrett.
This scholarship would not be possible without the incredible support from our community. Because of everyone who participates in and supports our annual fishing tournaments, we are able to continue giving back and helping local students pursue their future goals.
Thank you to everyone who has helped keep Garrett’s memory alive through this foundation. Congratulations again, Caden we wish you all the best in your future endeavors!

Kyle Lairmore received the Board Member of Excellence award from the Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO) in recognition of his outstanding leadership and service to OACF, an affiliate of the CFO.

Lairmore was recognized for guiding the OACF through a key transition period and providing stability, vision and renewed momentum for future growth. He is credited for taking an inclusive approach to rebuild momentum and position the foundation for long-term success.

The award was part of the CFO’s annual recognition of affiliates and affiliate leaders, presented April 23 prior to the Rural Philanthropy Summit. For a full list of honorees and grant recipients, visit cfozarks.org/2026affiliateawards.
