Green River Reentry Council To promote the successful reentry of ex-offenders into our communities by advocating and assisting.

About Us

The Green River Reentry Council is made up of the Green River Area Development District (Union, Henderson, Webster, McLean, Daviess, Ohio, and Hancock counties). Green River Reentry Council Goals

1) Advocate and educate the need for adequate transitional housing

2) Health Care - Identify resources or lack of resources and advocate or promote as needed for health care (Prescriptions,

Medical, Dental, Vision, Mental Health)

3) Advocate and educate the community about substance abuse and support substance abuse programs.

4) Employment -
Identify employers who will hire ex-offenders
Develop employers who will hire ex-offenders through education and advocacy
