Attention Parents:
Please do not allow your children to play in the retention basin.

Retention basins are designed to collect and temporarily hold stormwater during heavy rain to help prevent flooding. They are not playgrounds and can become dangerous, even when they appear dry.

Today, snakes were observed in the retention basin, which is another reminder that these areas provide natural habitat for wildlife and can pose safety risks.

Please help us keep everyone safe by reminding your children to stay out of the retention basin and use designated play areas instead. Thank you for your cooperation!

We want to let everyone know that mowing of the common areas maintained by the Heartlands Homeowners Association is taking place as quickly as possible.

Recent rain and changing weather conditions have caused some delays, as mowing wet ground can damage the turf and create unsafe working conditions. Our landscaping crews are working diligently to catch up as soon as conditions allow.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we complete the HOA-maintained areas throughout the neighborhood.

Please note: This update applies only to the common areas maintained by the Heartlands Homeowners Association and does not include privately owned residential lawns.

🚧 Heartlands Sidewalk Project Update 🚧

The City is moving forward with the Heartlands Sidewalk Project, an important improvement that will enhance pedestrian safety, accessibility, and connectivity throughout our neighborhood.

Please Note: The Heartlands Homeowners Association is not managing or overseeing this City sidewalk project. If you have questions, concerns, or would like to provide feedback regarding the project, please contact City Action directly. They are the appropriate point of contact for all project-related inquiries.

As work begins, residents may notice construction equipment, temporary traffic changes, and occasional sidewalk or roadway closures. We appreciate everyone's patience while these improvements are completed.

Please use caution around construction areas, follow posted signs, and watch for workers and equipment.
