🚨 HEARTLANDS NEIGHBORHOOD SAFETY REMINDER 🚨

Golf carts are prohibited on public neighborhood streets in Owensboro and Daviess County. This applies to adults and children.

Owensboro Ordinance 29-2017 and Daviess County Code §70.07 prohibit golf carts, low-speed vehicles, and utility vehicles, as defined by Kentucky law, on public roadways, streets, and highways.

Kentucky law, KRS 189.286, allows communities to authorize golf carts on designated roads under specific requirements. Our local ordinance prohibits their use on public streets.

⚠️ E-BIKES & SCOOTERS
Residents have also reported dangerous riding, near misses, and a serious injury involving an e-bike near the neighborhood park. Please slow down, give pedestrians plenty of space, and follow posted rules on the Greenbelt and in parks.

Parents and guardians: Please review safe riding practices with your children, encourage helmet use, and make sure the equipment and riding location are appropriate.

Please report dangerous riding and traffic violations to law enforcement. Call 911 for an emergency or immediate danger.

Attention Homeowners. We still have UNPAID HOA Dues. Next years dues will be upon us in no time. Late fees are accruing monthly and accounts left unpaid will be sent over to the attorney for collection and lien placement on your property.

We have created a way to do this online for convenience.

There is a transaction fee of $4.79 that you will need to pay if you choose to pay online. Of course you are still welcome to pay via a check as usual if you prefer.
