Trust. - it came into the room in the form of vulnerability and the Holy Spirit used it to fill the conversations. Josh shared, experienced students shared, first time students shared - the morning was powerful!

As we near graduation for this class they are inviting men who are interested in next years class into the room. Each man told stories of how they’ve witnessed change in the men of the current class. They all said that many people are excited to hear from members of this class every day - wanting to know about the speaker and the lessons learned.

What if - a man thinks his failures define his life?
Even if - he will be shown he has value, he can be redeemed, and he is a difference maker.

Yesterday was extra special for me and the class. I get to do life and serve many people with this amazing friend. An inspirational story of “What If” the deck is stacked against me? “Even If” the cards seem unfair, I will believe in my ability to play the hand I was dealt. Robert’s success is driven by his desire to impact his employees, his church, his community, his family and God’s Kingdom!

The Holy Spirit was present in the story and present in the room!

Want a custom guitar? I met a veteran inside a prison this week that has a gift for building guitars and he’d like to make a couple more before his release in April. Today you only pay for the equipment - not for his labor.

This man lead a life that put him behind bars for 17 years and counting. He made the decision to allow Jesus to use his past and be the author of his present and future. He is positively impacting the men around him today in preparation for bringing his words and lessons to his neighborhood in the future.

The impact is worth the effort! This Dad is finally getting the son he fought so hard to save. They saw each other after 14 years for the first time at our Shark Tank event. It is the work the son is putting in that allowed the warden to be able to say yes to the request to bring Dad in for the surprise.

Shark tank was such a great event! The students are sending out letters of gratitude and thanks to all the sharks. I love the good old fashion handwritten Thank You notes! Flameco Industries were represented by owner Robert Archuleta and his son Derek who is a psychology student at TU.

Andrew has lived on both sides of the fences. He is a prime example of how a man’s story can be used by our God to impact others. Some of the units are having air conditioning problems. Temps reaching 100+ in some of the cells made for long nights and some sleep deprived men. They came in tired and frustrated but they left refreshed and refurbished.
