🥎🖤💛 OKLAHOMA COMMIT 2034 | HOWL-O-SCREAM RUNNER-UP! 💛🖤🥎
19 TEAMS. ONE TOUGH BATTLE. 2ND PLACE IN GOLD! 🏆
Oklahoma Commit 2034 traveled to Kansas this weekend for the Howl-O-Scream Tournament, and these girls showed up ready to COMPETE! 💪🔥
Out of 19 teams, our girls battled their way to a 2nd-place finish in the Gold Bracket, falling just short in a heartbreaking 2-1 championship game.
And what a battle it was! These girls went toe-to-toe with an undefeated 14-0 team, keeping the game tied 1-1 through SIX innings! They didn’t back down, didn’t get intimidated, and fought until the very last out! 👏
🔥 Pitchers were ON FIRE!
💥 Bats were HOT!
🥎 Plays were EXECUTED!
We saw it ALL this weekend! Singles, doubles, triples, HOME RUNS, perfectly placed bunts, aggressive slaps, and runs crossing the plate! Every girl contributed, and every girl had a role in this team’s success!
But what stands out even more than the hits, strikeouts, and scoreboard is the HEART of this team.
Their dedication, WANT-TO, energy, and work ethic are unmatched! These girls show up ready to give their FULL effort every single time they step between those lines. They are learning to trust one another, execute when it matters, and understand that EVERY player matters. From offense to defense, every girl is being utilized, challenged, and pushed to grow!
This team isn’t built around one player. It’s built around ALL of them. 💛
Sure, we wanted that championship win, and losing a battle like that stings. But weekends like this show exactly what these girls are capable of and just how bright their future is!
