Saturday early morning Commit 10U jumped on the turnpike and headed down to Harrah, OK. They left the ball fields about 10:30 last night going down to a tough team 0-3 after we had sat for 5 hours between games. We knew we would meet them again. That lose on the day dropped us to the losers side of the bracket. Battling one game at a time today their bats went hot and defense was being played working our way to game 3 the semi finals. We met that team again. Our bats and defense struggled at times and we fell short taking a 6-9 loss. Nothing to hang our heads about playing in 111 degree heat so about 120 on the turf. This team has some fight in them and the coaching staff loves that! Bringing home a cool watermelon ring we go back to the drawing board, taking Labor Day weekend off we will turn around and hit the road back to Harrah! First time at that park in many years and we had a great experience facing some great competition!
