Lucretia Young and her husband, David, have been married for 31 years and have three adult sons. Since moving to Owasso in the early 2000s, she has been an active community member, serving as a substitute teacher and committed volunteer, especially with the Owasso Band.

For the past decade, she has worked as a Patient Advocate at Bailey Medical Center, supporting patients before surgery. A Rhema Bible College graduate, Lucretia is active in her family’s ministry and known for her strong faith and passion for encouraging others.

In recognition of the love extended to those in her care. The compassion she shows to patients at Bailey Hospital in Owasso, her dedication to volunteering for Owasso bands, and her commitment to praying for her community truly reflects her
servant’s heart.

Linda Welch is a dedicated and dependable member of the Owasso Public Schools Transportation team. She began her bus driving career in 2011, overcoming early challenges with determination and persistence. After eight years with Cypress-Fairbanks ISD in Houston, she brought her experience to Owasso in 2019.

In 2020, she was assigned to Route Bus 15—a route she continues to drive today. Many of her students have ridden with her from kindergarten through high school. Linda shows up—and her students count on it. Her consistency, care, and dedication make her a valued part of the OPS transportation team.

In recognition of the unwavering love and care she extends to every student who boards her bus every single day. Whether rain or shine, she greets each child with a warm smile and watchful eye. Her dedication to ensuring that every student feels safe and valued is truly commendable.

The fourth annual We See You Recognition Banquet will be held on September 26, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the Bailey Education Foundation Auditorium, 10502 N. 110th E. Ave, Owasso, OK 74055.

The We See You Recognition focuses on women and girls (of any age) living, working, or volunteering in the city of Owasso and surrounding communities, who exemplify positive character traits day-in and day-out. These women serve from their heart, without fanfare and often with little to no recognition. We want to say to these women and girls…We See You!

Jasmine Burton is a devoted caregiver, community servant, and advocate for vulnerable youth. Since moving to Oklahoma in 2007, she has built a life rooted in purpose—combining her professional work at Tulsa Transit with a deep commitment to ministry, foster care, and mentorship.

Inspired by her love for ministry and working with children, Jasmine became a Therapeutic Foster Care parent and has since cared for over 50 girls, adopting four and currently pursuing a fifth. Jasmine continues to foster, lead, and serves as a 9th-grade girls group leader at Woodlake Church in Tulsa.

In recognition of her willingness to love beyond and through challenging circumstances. Her compassion and dedication to assure girls and others feel safe, cared for, and loved is a heart gift that cannot be measured.
