Call To Action Team Against Human Trafficking Ladies from the Greater Oviedo community

We are a local community-based group of compassionate women who abhor any practice that promotes human trafficking, violence, exploitation and/or slave labor. We are an advocate group which assists other local nonprofit organizations by directly supporting survivors of human trafficking. We share the support and care for the survivors in ways that touch their hearts and demonstrate to them that th

ey are not forgotten. We choose to make a positive difference in their lives and to stimulate interest where needed in the crisis of human trafficking.

Our Call to Action Team was honored to be a part of Oviedo’s 100th Anniversary Celebration, where we connected with the community and raised awareness about the realities of human trafficking.

We had powerful conversations with parents about the hidden dangers lurking in apps that young people use every day. It’s crucial to stay informed, stay vigilant, and protect our children from online threats.

Exciting news! The Trafficking Survivors Relief Act (TSRA) has been reintroduced in the House! We’re one step closer to gaining, for the first time, a federal law that will give survivors of human trafficking a pathway to clear their federal criminal records.
