The delegates of Joint Council 13 presented its donation check from the annual JC 13 Buddy Bass Tournament donations to Snow Flake Village ( St. Louis Children’s Hospital).

This year, together, we raised over $32,000! This amount is only possible due to the donations received from our members, Locals and Joint Councils, employers, and numerous sponsors. We want to once again thank everyone who was able to donate to this incredible program through St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Thank you!

* Snowflake Village is a donation-driven holiday program and free "toy store" located within St. Louis Children's Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Boaters are registered and headed out to do some fishing today for the annual Joint Council 13 Buddy Bass Fishing Tournament! Good luck to our fisherman.

the Teamsters Joint Council 13 Executive Board and Delegates presented to Snow Flake Village of Saint Louis Children’s Hospital a check for $35,836.00. This money was raised during JC 13’s annual Buddy Bass Fishing Tournament. Our Members, employers, and individual donators make this a continued success year after year. Monday December 18, 2023
The Teamsters Joint Council 13 Executive Board and Delegates presented to Snow Flake Village of Saint Louis Children’s Hospital a check for $33,500.00. This money was raised during JC 13’s annual Buddy Bass Fishing Tournament. Our Members, employers, and individual donators make this a continued success year after year. Thank you once again to everyone who has been apart of this over the years.

In addition to our check presentation St. Louis Prosecuting Attorney, Wesley Bell, spoke regarding his upcoming run for the U.S. Senate. Bell spoke on being on the side of labor since the beginning and how he will continue to do so.

Lastly, on behalf of the JC 13 Executive Board, we wish you a safe and happy holiday season!

This morning Joint Council 13 dropped off supplies for the striking members of UAW and assisted in walking picket in solidarity. If anyone would like to give any assistance to the UAW workers, they are, of course, appreciative.

The Teamsters Joint Council 13 10th Annual Buddy Bass Fishing Tournament was another success! Plenty of fish were caught and great feedback was received. Every year we strive to make the tournament better and this year was no different. We will take this years feedback and apply it to next years tournament. Thank you again to all of the fishermen who donated through raffle ticket sales and help acquire raffle and attendance prizes. This event could not be as successful without your generosity. Thank you to all of our volunteers who helped get the tournament off without a hitch.

A very special thank you to Rob Phelps (Recording Secretary of Teamsters Local 618). Rob put in a lot of time leading up to our event and and brought new ideas to the table that proved to be very beneficial. Thanks Rob!
